Geocenamus longus
L= 0.88-1.34 mm, V= 52-61, C=14-22, spicule length 28-34 um
Geocenamus longus is immediately recognized by its long stylet
(53-69um in adult females) and its body annulation which is completely
broken into a series of blocks over the entire body. SEM
face views show 6 complete longitudinal striations and a discrete perioral
disk. The basal bulb usually occupies 22 % of the esophagus length, proportionally
larger than the other species in the genus.
