Belonolaimus longicaudatus

Belonolaimus.

Females. Median bulb is elongated. Nearly always have a pair of opposing sclerotized pieces in the vagina. Hemispherical tail with terminus about 5.9 microns in length.

Average female measurements: Length 2.2 mm; width 34 microns; lip region 9.4 microns wide by 17.8 microns long; stylet 118 microns long; hemizonid 202 microns from anterior end; excretory pore 215 microns from anterior end; phasmid 126 microns from terminus.

Average male measurements: Length 1.8 mm; width 29 microns; lip region 8.7 microns wide by 14.2 microns long; stylet 113 microns long; hemizonid 185 microns from anterior end; excretory pore 192 microns from terminus; phasmid 98 microns from terminus; spicules 43.7 microns measured on chord of arc; gubernaculum 15.5 microns long with posterior flexure 5.7 microns long.

Immature stages. Constriction in the neck region and the central lateral line is present in the head, absent in the first 8 to 10 annules from the head and begins again extending to the end of the tail; the other two lateral lines begin 40 to 50 annules from the neck constriction.
