Society Membership
    The Society of Nematologists is composed of members from more than 60 countries. Persons interested in any aspect of nematology are eligible for membership in the society, which is a mixture of basic and applied researchers and graduate students from various disciplines within agriculture and the biological sciences. 

    Membership Benefits and Services

    Annual Meetings, at which the latest developments in nematology are presented and discussed.  Membership Directory listing addresses, phone numbers, brief biographical sketches and principal professional activities and research interests of over 800 persons interested in the science of nematology. 
    Journal of Nematology, the official refereed journal published quarterly by the Society of Nematologists and received by all members, associate members and subscribing institutions. The journal considers original papers and research notes on basic, applied, descriptive or experimental nematology.  Placement Service that maintains resumes and pertinent information regarding individuals seeking employment in nematology and disseminates information on employment opportunities. 
    Nematology Newsletter, published quarterly by the Society of Nematologists for its members. The newsletter reports important developments in the society and its affiliates; provides information on coming events in nematology throughout the world; publishes book reviews, placement information and job opportunities; and contains a People and Places section the reports special activities and awards affecting society members.  Professional Specialties Interactions with colleagues on a variety of Society of Nematologists committees, according to individual interests.
