Female. Body very small, generally curved 45-90O
when killed. Annules uninterrupted at lateral field; posterior margins
conspicuously crenate. Annules retrorse except anterior ones.
Anastomoses 0-3, generally in posterior half of body. Posterior part
of body convex-conoid towards rounded terminus.
Head not offset. First annule with labial
plates and four sublateral lobes which are wholly isolated from one another.
Spear robust with broad basal knobs. Oesophagus typical for genus.
Total number of body annules 75-84. Excretory pore on 22nd-24th from
anterior end, vulva on 6-8th from behind, anus on 4-6th from behind.
Vulva opening sideways; anterior lip simple. Ovary relatively short,
with conspicuous spermatheca 10-14 u in diameter.
Male. Body tapering little anteriorly, head end broadly rounded. Excretory pore indistinct. Hemizonid one annule long. Lateral field with four longitudinal lines. Total number of body annules 145-170. Tail tapering towards rounded terminus. Fine annulation extends around tail tip. Spicules curved, cephalated proximally, pointed distally. Gubernaculum small. Bursa envelops tail.
