Cutthroat trout have been stocked in Pine, White Clay, and Larrabee
creeks in Sheridan County, White River in Sioux County, and Beaver, Chadron,
Dead Horse, Indian, Bordeaux, Little Bordeaux, and Big Bordeaux creeks
in Dawes County, Nebraska. Indiscriminate stocking has obscured recognition
of many subspecies. Cutthroat trout also hybridize with rainbow trout in
situations where one or both species have been introduced.
