Andrássy, 1988
Diagnosis:  Dorylaimidae.  Body 1.4-3.5 mm long, slender (a = 42-75).   Lip region continuous with body, lips amalgamated.  Amphids funnel-shaped.  Odontostyle dorylaimoid, 15-20 um long.  Guiding ring single.  Female reproductive system amphidelphic.  Vulva longitudinal or transverse.  Spicules dorylaimoid, supplements consisting of an adanal pair and 12-32 contiguous ventromedian supplements.  Prerectum in males extending well beyond range of supplements.  Tail 3-10 anal body widths long in females; short, conoid in males.

Remarks:  This genus is closely related to Laimydorus Siddiqi, 1969 and Mesodorylaimus Andrássy, 1959, but differs in having a slender body, four yellowish spots around the base of the odotostyle, ventrally curved and narrowly rounded male tail and well-developed caudal papillae.  Jairajpuri and Ahmad (1992) state that Crocodorylaimus Andrássy, 1988 may be a synonym of Laimydorus Siddiqi, 1969.
