Annules 115-130, plain, retrorse, overlapping. Anastomosis sometimes present, 7 dorsal and 3 ventral seen on one specimen. Annules bearing minute, refractive elements. Labial disc almost submerged in cupped first annule. Spear 47u-52u long. Details of anterior end and tails as illustrated. Ovary with several lines of oocytes except in region of multiplication. Spheroid offset spermatheca packed with spermatozoa. Caudal annules 9-11, the terminal one extended in 1 to 4 sharp points. Males not collected.
Criconemoides raskiensis is distinctive because of the simple labial disc almost submerged in first annule, fine ornamentation of retrorse annules, short spear, multiple rows of oocytes and form and arrangement of caudal annules.

Habitat: Fourteen specimens from bank of slough 2 miles west of Brookings, South Dakota. De Grisse’s specimens were collected in Holland.
